The DofE is a globally recognized program that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and resilience. The Bronze Award is the first level, designed specifically for students like you. Over several months, you’ll take part in four key sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and the Expedition.
• Volunteering: Give back to your community by helping at a local charity, coaching younger students, or participating in environmental projects.
• Physical: Boost your fitness by trying a new sport, improving your performance in one you love, or joining a school team.
• Skills: Learn something new! Whether it’s cooking, photography, playing an instrument, or mastering a craft, the choice is yours.
• Expedition: Embark on an exciting overnight journey with your peers, navigating your route and setting up camp in the great outdoors.
The program is flexible, meaning you can choose activities that interest you while working towards a common goal. Along the way, you’ll gain confidence, independence, and practical skills that will benefit you for life.
Completing the Bronze Award is an impressive achievement, enhancing your CV and future applications for college or jobs. It’s also a great way to make new friends, discover hidden talents, and challenge yourself.
