Woodhey High School is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results, with students achieving well above the national average.
Headteacher Mr Watson praised the success of this year’s cohort, saying:
"We are immensely proud of our students for their hard work, resilience and determination. These results reflect their commitment, the dedication of our staff, and the support of families and our community."
This year has also seen significant improvements for Woodhey’s most disadvantaged students, who have achieved some of the strongest outcomes yet.
"It’s been wonderful to see our young people grow in confidence and ambition," added Mr Watson. "We are especially proud of the achievements of our disadvantaged students, who have made remarkable progress."
As students move on to college, apprenticeships and employment, the whole school community wishes them every success for the future.
"They leave us not only with excellent qualifications but also as well-rounded young people ready to make their mark on the world," said Mr Watson.
