Congratulations to the 95 Year 9 students who successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in May 2026.
Over the course of two days, students kayaked along the Bridgewater Canal, travelling approximately 15 kilometres each day. The expedition provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate resilience, teamwork, independence and determination as they navigated their route and worked together to overcome challenges along the way.
Throughout the expedition, our students showed a real sense of achievement and dedication to their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Their positive attitude, commitment and willingness to support one another were evident throughout the journey, making the experience both rewarding and memorable for everyone involved.
A special thank you, as always, goes to Glenn, Andrew and the entire team at Grip Adventure for their care, support and expert guidance in facilitating the expedition. Their experience and encouragement helped ensure that our students had a safe, enjoyable and successful adventure.
