On the 26th November, Year 11 students visited the National Apprenticeship Show at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool. The National Apprenticeship Show is an exciting opportunity for our students to learn about different career paths, explore apprenticeships with international companies and obtain information on career development. There were lots of things to do at the show. Students enjoyed testing their reflex skills with the Army, learning about careers with the Fire Service, and finding out about STEM industries. Students certainly loved the freebies given out too!

Harley, who attended the event, said that he enjoyed hearing about different engineering apprenticeships from many different companies, and the jobs that one of these will lead to. Charlie, who is interested in a career in welding, didn't know that this can be undertaken in the army!

A great day and lots of things to think about!
